Zach Schwenk

Zach Schwenk, 42, of Liberty, MO, passed away March 11, 2025, alongside his beloved dog, Bean. He was born in Sedalia, MO and grew up in Lake Tapawingo, MO. He lived a life marked by quiet strength, resilience, and loyalty—to his country, his family, the Chiefs and his closest companion.  Zachary graduated from Blue Springs North in 2002 and later on Central Missouri State.

Zach was a proud veteran, having served in both Afghanistan and Iraq, surviving combat in both wars. His service was a testament to his bravery and dedication

Away from the battlefield,  Zach found solace in peace and quiet. He had a sharp mind, a competitive spirit, and an undefeated record in tennis against his brother—something he never let him forget. Through it all, his dog, Bean, was always by his side. The two were inseparable, and it’s only fitting that they remained together until the end.

He is survived by his Mother Denise, his Father Kurt and his younger brother Jeremy. His unfortunate passing will serve as a daily reminder to them and hopefully others to live life and your family to the fullest.
