It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Aaron Baker, age 60, leaving us on March 18, 2025. Born on February 11,1965, Robert was a husband, son, brother, father, uncle and a great friend to many. His adventurous spirit and zest for life made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Robert married the love of his life Tammy on June 19, 2011. Their partnership was filled with love, laughter and countless adventures. Together they created a home filled with love and joy where friends and family were always welcome.
You could always count on Robert to be the Host with the most. With their annual Halloween parties and game nights, everyone was sure to have a great time.
An adventurous soul, Robert found joy in the great outdoors. He was an avid deer hunter and loved the thrill of the hunt for that perfect BUCK! His passion for BBQ was equally strong…he always enjoyed grilling and smoking food for family and friends and was a proud member of the BBQ team “The Bourbon Butt Rubbers”.
In addition to his love for the outdoors, Robert had a deep appreciation for history, participating in Civil War Reenactments that allowed him to connect with the past and share his passion with others. He was part of the Shelby’s 5th Missouri Cavalry.
His adventurous spirit extended to the open road where he and Tammy enjoyed riding their Harleys all over the countryside as well as to the Sturgis Bike Rally and to Bikes, Blues, and BBQ, creating unforgettable memories with friends along the way.
In his professional life, for many years, Robert was a talented construction craftsman.
He took great pride in every project he undertook. Most recently Robert switched career paths and joined Grimco in Liberty. He often said how much he enjoyed being there.
Robert's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of friendship, adventure, and a passion for life that will be remembered.
