Natalia Rivera

Natalia passed away on February 18th, 2025, peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents Salvador and Carmen (Oropeza) Macias, her husband of 52 years Jose Rivera, daughter Mary Ann Rivera, son John Rivera and great grandson Tyler Anthony Charles.

She is survived by her children Joe Rivera (Martha), Gloria Berroteran (Marcos), Josephine Reyes, Benjamin Rivera (Rhonda), Carmen Florez (Mike), 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas and the Catholic Community. She enjoyed spending time with all her family and friends. In her free time, she loved playing bingo and going to the casino. She also loved getting dressed up and going to dances where she would dance the night away with her loving husband to their favorite Mexican music.

She will always be remembered for her delicious cooking, her outgoing personality and her dedication to her family.

The funeral services will be held on February 28th, 2025, at St. John Evangelist Church 2910 Strong Ave. Kansas City, KS 66106. Visitation will be from 10am-11am followed by mass at 11am. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery 1150 N. 38th St. Kansas City, KS 66102.
