Mickey Ann Bailey

Mickey Ann Bailey, 68, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully at Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO on July 10, 2024. She was born November 11, 1955 in Rhinelander, WI, daughter of the late Norman and Ada (Vaughan) Bartman. She was also preceded in death by her sister Teresa B Bartman and her Aunt and Uncle Frankie and Creed Byrd.

Mickey served her country proudly in the Marine Corp for 16 years (Staff Sergeant). After the Marine Corp she started her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, she retired in 2016. She enjoyed visits to the Zoo, spending time with her family, and playing cards and bingo with her friends. 

 Mickey is survived by her two children, Jenifer Bailey of Smithville, MO and Douglas and his wife Eileen Bailey of Kansas City, KS; as well as her 5 grandchildren Alison, Alyssa, Derick, Tyler and Marydith; her sister Becky (Walter) Ziemann of Waukesha, WI, Ex-husband Charlie Bailey of Kansas City, KS and several nieces and nephews. 

 Mickey’s wish is to rest with her family at Belfalls Cemetery in Texas. Her family plans to make this wish come true and celebrate her life in November for what would have been her 69th birthday.
