Kelli L. Scott (Sutley), 42, of Bonner Springs, KS, passed away on November 9, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. Born in Atchison, KS, Kelli graduated from Atchison High School before earning both her Bachelor’s and Master's from the University of Kansas.

 A dedicated social worker at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Kelli was deeply committed to improving the lives of the children and families she served. Her creative and vibrant spirit shone through her hobbies, which included painting, hiking, and crafting. Kelli was known for her kindness and fun-loving nature, and she cherished time spent in the mountains, watching sunsets, and being with her beloved son, Memphis. 

Kelli was a passionate sports fan, enthusiastically supporting the KC Chiefs, KU Jayhawks, and KC Royals. Her love for her family and friends was evident in every aspect of her life, especially in the joyful moments spent with her husband, son, and her close-knit group of pals.

 Kelli is survived by her husband, Nate Scott; son, Memphis Scott; father, Steven Sutley; sister, Carrie Donaldson; brother-in-law, Mike Donaldson; niece, Angelika Donaldson; father and mother-in-law, Stew and Annie Scott; sister-in-law, Jamie Scott. She was preceded in death by her mother, Roxanna (Zerger) Balcacer. 

A service to celebrate Kelli's life will be held at the Church of Resurrection in Leawood, KS on December 12th at 10:30 am. Anyone attending should wear bright and colorful attire, per Kelli’s wishes. Her legacy of love, creativity, and compassion will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
