Jordan Thomas Garlach, 30, of Olathe, KS, passed away at his family home on April 26, 2024. He was born in 1994 to Paul & Kimberly Garlach, the youngest of their three children. In his early life, Jordan was a sweet but wild little guy who loved cars, bikes and anything with a motor. He would ride his bicycle for hours with his closest friends.
An avid outdoorsman, Jordan loved the mountains in Colorado, where he made his second home. He loved to
snowboard, spend time in the mountains and hang out with friends. Riding dirt bikes was one of his greatest passions, and he was a talented rider who loved riding with his Dad and his buddies – on the trails, on the track and on the streets. He also loved music, especially EDM, and blasted his stereo every chance he got. He was a fantastic writer, discovering his love for poetry after the loss of his fiancée, Rhiannon Hennessey.
Jordan was the best son you could ever dream of having, the best brother a kid could ever want, and the best, most giving friend to everyone he met. He was a quiet jokester with a huge heart. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends, from all walks of life.
Jordan is preceded in death by his father, Paul Garlach, his paternal grandparents, Jack and Helen Garlach, his maternal grandparents, Jim and Diane Haynes, and the love of his life, Rhiannon Hennessey. He is survived by his mother, Kimberly Garlach, his brother, Mitchell Garlach (Bobby Jo), and uncle, Jack Garlach, Jr., of Olathe; his sister, Maggie Moulin (Christopher), nieces, Maci, Kinley & Keri Moulin, and nephew, Jacob Moulin, of Kansas City, KS; his aunt Kathy Zielinski (Michael) of Harrisonville, MO; his uncle, Jeffrey Garlach, of Wichita; as well as many dear friends, including lifelong friend Rex Wood of Olathe.
