Mission

 

Jon passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 12th 2023 from a health condition that was not diagnosed. 
  
Jonathan grew up in a lot of places throughout his childhood. His parents Rodney Hudspeth ( deceased ) and Angela Person adored him. Jon grew up with his three siblings Eric Person, Jennifer Gower and David Hudspeth. 
 
 Jon had very fond childhood memories with his Grandparents, Aunts and Cousins. 
 
While attending Shawnee Mission North High School, he met his wife Mallory.
Soon after high school, they started a family and welcoming their first son Andrew in 2005. He married Mallory in 2010 and soon after welcomed their second son, Nathan in 2011.
 
He moved his family to Mission KS, where they have resided since. 
Raising his family, Jon was a very hard worker. He worked in concrete for four years and then moved into kitchen hood cleaning for commerical properties. 
 
Jon enjoyed fishing as his main hobby. He was extremely good at it. Jon enjoyed his family and his favorite time was being at home watching movies or playing video games with his boys. Jonathan had the best laugh and would pull you out of a bad day just by his jokes and contagious smile. 
 
He will be greatly missed and forever loved. 
 
Jon is survived by wife Mallory Hudspeth; two sons Andrew & Nathan Hudspeth; Mother Angela Person; brothers, Eric Person and David Hudspeth; sister Jennifer Gower along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father Rodney Hudspeth.
 
Memorial Services will be held 
 
Saturday September 23rd at 12:00pm at 3730 Metropolitan Ave Kansas City Kansas 66106
