Jimmie Joe (Jim) Bleything, aged 83, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in his home in Louisburg, Kansas. He was a proud US Airforce Veteran.

He was born in 1940 to George & Mignonette (Henninger) Bleything who preceded him in death.  He was the youngest of 13 children.

In 1965 he married Nancy Skaggs who preceded him in death in 1983.  He married Linda (Johnson) Cale in 1994, who survives.  He had three children of his own and three children through marriage: Brandon (Denise), Shannon, Malissa (Richard) Cain, Christopher, Kari, and Jason (Yvonne).  He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Jim enjoyed his dogs, gardening, genealogy, and was an avid boxing fan.  He had a sarcastic and playful sense of humor and was a great storyteller.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, December 10, 2023, 309 5th St, West Point, Iowa.
