Erika (Jackson) Brim, 45, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023. She was born in 1977, the youngest of 3 girls born to Raymond and Sherry (Taylor) Jackson. Erika served as a lifelong Catholic who attended All Saints Catholic School and Bishop Ward High School, graduating in 1996. She was a long time employee of the Wyandotte County Courthouse.
Erika always had a smile on her face while spending time with her husband and their 3 children, whether they were bowling, swimming in the lake, or just watching tv. Erika was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Sherry, her nephew Danyael, her father-in-law Benjamin Shatto, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Erika is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Anthony, and their 3 children, Erik, Taylor, and Joseph Brim; her sisters Kandice Jackson and Amanda (Phillip) McMaster, her mother-in-law Denise Shatto, her sister-in-law Heather (Ricky) Basye, her brother-in-law Jacob (Ashley) Shatto, her nephews Wraymond and Nicholas McMaster, Alec Hedges, Benjamin Shatto IV; nieces Savannah McMaster, Kaylee Hedges, and Jazyla and A’Nyla Shatto. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Erika was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Visitation is Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 from 6-8 PM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church located at 1086 N 94th St. Kansas City, KS 66112. The funeral mass will be on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023 at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, with burial directly afterward at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
