d. November 20, 2024

Topeka

Aaron "Skeeter" Michalski, 42 went to be with God and family members in heaven on Tuesday, November 20, 2024.

Aaron was an avid sports lover and devoted Kansas City Chiefs, Royals and KU fan. He could give you any statistic for any player in just about any sport! He never ceased to amaze us. He found fulfillment and joy serving as an altar boy for mass at his home Church St. Joseph's on Strawberry Hill. He loved competing in Special Olympics, track & field, basketball, volleyball, and bowling for many years until he was no longer able to physically. He graduated from J.C. Harmon High School and enjoyed working as a Host/Greeter at Outback Steakhouse. He had a gentle, loving soul, was so silly and made others laugh anytime he was around, laughed with his whole being, and loved his entire family.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, maternal and paternal grandparents, and lots of family animals who we are sure ran to greet him as he entered the gates of heaven. He is survived by his Father, Ed Michalski, Jr., Sister, Michelle Samar, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and a nephew who will all miss him dearly.

The family will celebrate Aaron's life this coming Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at 11am at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, KS where he will be laid to rest next to his mother. Anyone attending is invited to wear Kansas City Chiefs attire as that is what Aaron would want and he would get a real kick out of it.

In lieu of flowers we ask if you'd like to do something in his honor that you make a donation in his name to Special Olympics or to Providence Living Center in Topeka, KS where Aaron lived out the last portion of his life and was cared for so lovingly.
